SAI SEED

Creation of Artificial Super Intelligence is on the to do list of humanity for a number of decades.

The goal has been elusive, and actually could not even be well enough defined, although a number of particular algorithms where suggested and implemented, including general problem solvers.

The hard development problem arises due to the fact that Intelligence requires automatic continuous and synergetic application of large number of algorithms. In such setting, the slowest components of a system become bottlenecks of processing. Which is also true about the development effort itself, where the inevitable redesign and reintegration bring things to a scratching halt.

The solution that is offered by our SAI SEED approach, integrates the design, development, implementation, functioning and management of SAI in one application. The SAI Seed is not “Seed AI” however.

Starting as this Seed, the application can be grown into the fully functional SAI in a way that allows for easy design-redesign, and integration-reintegration.

Conceptually, the target SAI functions as a network of linked objects, which contain own descriptions and possess certain associated functionality.

The SAI Seed at its initial stage lets the user-developer organize relations between the objects and write text description for each of them. Eventually, after growth through efforts of developers, the seed turns into SAI that itself operates by creation, changing, or removing objects, with the developer still able to manage those objects directly.

The SAI Seed wears a number of hats, which include upon some germination these:

It is your interface to the internals of SAI, as it is being developed and eventually operates.

It is object management system that facilitates its self-management, as well as its management by developer.

It is the operating system of SAI.

It is the IDE of SAI.

It is a version management tool of SAI.

It is an Object Oriented Design tool of SAI.

It is the initial self-description of SAI.

It is the demo of the self.

The SAI Seed for Windows XP can be downloaded, by clicking on the links below.

Downloads are self-extracting archives.

Download SAI Seed (BL) application

You must click on ‘Install’ after you’ve made initial extract.

It is preferable to have a directory C:\AI\UNZIPPED, which is default for Install.

Download SAI Seed Visual C++ project

My installation: Visual Studio 2005, with Microsoft SDK for Windows v6.0.

With different installation, the project might need some porting.

Good luck!
